New features of RunCam Firmware V2.2:

• 1. All the parameters, including digital IS, can be set via APP (with Android App V1.8).
• 2. When the camera is connected to APP, you can still use physical buttons to shoot or record (with Android App V1.8).
• 3. Firmware upgrade can be done via App(with Android App V1.8.0/IOS APP V1.3.0).
• 4. Fixed the bug of time not synchronized after removing battery.
• 5. Fixed the bug that IS turns on unexpectedly after shortly pressing on WiFi button.
• 6. Fixed the bug of Image Flip.

New features of RunCam Firmware V2.1:

With Android App V1.7.0 or iOS App v1.2.6 you can:

• 1. Set more parameters: automatic shutdown, feedback beep, USB mode, auto-recording, loop recording, Wi-Fi auto-deactivation.
• 2. Restore Factory Settings.
• 3. Record video in recommended bitrate for Youtube upload.
• 4. Set automatic mode for Image Flip.

Other updates:

• 1. Fix the bug that there is no beep when recording in time-lapse.
• 2. Change back time watermark text color to white.

• HOW TO UPDATE?
• Firmware Upgrade (It would be better to upgrade under OSD menu; press power button to select down and WiFi button to confirm; upgrade when the battery is fully charged )
• 1. After downloading the firmware, unzip the downloaded file, find the RUNCAM2.BRN file and copy it to the root directory of the microSD card. The firmware name should be confirmed as RUNCAM2.BRN.(Note: If the original firmware version is Sep 14 2017 Ver.2.3, the firmware name should be RUNCAM2.BRN, if not, the firmware name should be RC2AS.BRN)
• 2. Disconnect from the computer, powering the camera via the mobile charger. And then turn on the RunCam 2 with the micro SD card inserted. The camera will start checking the firmware and show a solid orange light with LED1 (Wi-Fi button).
• 3. Orange light blinks slowly while firmware is upgrading.
• 4. After 2 minutes, the camera will automatically shut down,upgrade has completed.
